Trashbag came to MOCA for a clean, minimal website that advertises their recycled bin liners and explains the differences in types of recycling. Trashbag bin liners are made from post consumer recycled plastic - this is plastic that has been thrown away into landfill and rescued or collected for recycling. Many other companies that advertise their products as 'made from recycled material' are actually made from pre consumer recycled plastic - this is plastic that is waste or offcut material from the manufacturing process that is collected to be reused, not truly rescued or even used before as part of a previous product.
Trashbag believe in the Circular Economy, and in recycling our old plastics rather than letting them end up in our natural environment, and MOCA are glad to help.
