Working with KVH, MOCA developed an online solution for the creation and management of legally required Biosecurity Plans on kiwifruit orachards. The solution was the creation of a standalone Vue webapp that pulls login data from the main KVH website, and stores historic form data against those logins.
Testing and developing with the experience of KVH and individual growers, we were able to create a user friendly webapp that guides the user through the completion of their biosecurity plans. Draft plans are saved against the user login and can be completed at any time. Completed plans can be downloaded as a PDF and printed for hard copies to exist on the orchard - these are accessible online at any point online. Subsequent plans, which are completed each year, have their completion times drastically reduced by the ability to duplicate the plan of a previous year, with checkboxes for the user to confirm that their answers are still relevant for this plan.
